Hawaii Trip – Day 8
Thursday, January 11th, 2007 :: 11:53 pm
It’s been a while since I’ve posted, sorry! It took longer than expected after each day in Hawaii, and right after I came back, lots of “start of school term” things to take care of :-P
Here’s day eight, January 1! From what I remembered it was quite a relaxing new year’s day, just taking in different views of the city!
Starting the trail up to Diamond Head, top of Honolulu!

Winding trail with lots of morning hikers

Leading into a tunnel…

After the tunnel we were greeted with…. STEEP stairs…

The steps lead to a spiral staircase…

And the view that awaits! Coral reefs in the shallow waters

The view isn’t complete without a 180° panorama :-P (Click for large image)

Haha Chord, we went to a lot of “non-standard” Hawaiian places this time, botanical gardens, parks, etc.

Composition, composition! Starting with a prime lens is great, because you get to focus on… composition!
