through the eyes of the a70

Just going through my Eurotrip photos and found this one. Thought it should have its own post since it has a story behind it.

So many will say that Paris is a romantic city. And while I was atop the Eiffel tower I witnessed something romantically special.

I finally made my way to the edge of the fence on the top floor of tower, and started to take lots of photos as usual. What I didn’t notice was that a guy and his girlfriend (travelling, I presume) were also standing beside me. With my eyes still fixed on the viewfinder, I only noticed them after hearing:

“Will you marry me?”
“Yes”

They began hugging and crying. With a shiny new ring.

What?! I had just stood beside someone who proposed his girlfriend on the top of Paris! (and I’m sure lots of the girls are going “awwww”)

I didn’t want to disturb their happy moment, so I quietly snapped a photo :-) Things like this make the trip awesome!
