Central Park
Saturday, October 23rd, 2010 :: 10:13 pm
I walked into Central Park no more than 100 meters before I fell in love with it. It’s a totally different change from the busy lifestyle of New York. One moment you could be shopping down 7th Avenue and the next you could be jogging around the park. The only way you will be reminded that you are still in the city is the top floors of the skyscrapers peeking out the tops of the trees.
It does seem like New Yorkers are very healthy. There were a lot of people on this Saturday, there must’ve been some marathon going on. Even then, there were plenty of cyclists and parents pushing strollers as they run.
The leaves were almost changing colours, not quite though. I swear I could just stand at the end of the main walkway and listen to street performers all day. I’ll need to come back another time, even after spending 4 hours in it today, I’ve covered only half the park. Wish I could post more… but till later!

Milo

Yesterday after a photoshoot on Granville Island, I came across this very cute dog named Milo on a leash circling beside his owner. He was quite friendly, and crawled up close onto my lap when I crouched down and petted him.
His owner Andrea says that Milo has lots of photos taken of him because they recently bought a dSLR as well, though he usually shys away from big lenses. Milo sure makes one great model, especially when he looks so innocent :-D
It’s good to be back taking and posting photos. I’ve been missing in action for a while now, mainly because I’ve been busy working on a side project with couple of other friends. Hope to be back updating more often :-)
