I talked myself into walking onto the bridge once again – I had been on there twice already today and all the walking was beginning to wear me out. The closer I got to the first set of pillars, the more colourful the skies were turning. It started with yellow, then orange. Must. Walk. Faster. By the time I got past the point where the cables started, the south side of Manhattan turned pink and purple, then all the different shades you can imagine. Perfect. It was a sunset to remember – and it was well worth it :-)
