First Snow

Tuesday, November 29th, 2005 :: 8:35 pm

And right after it frosts, what’s the next major weather event? You guessed it! Snow!

I don’t think Vancouver has ever snowed in November before… looks like a record to me!

Weather Stats

I love the scenes, but I hate the commute and the “aftermath”! Waited 30 min for my bus (usually 3-5 min), and rode for an hour (usually 30 min, although I heard some were worse off with 3 hour commute… wow). The “aftermath” is the mush that is left behind when the weather isn’t below 0 anymore.

Shoes = soaked
Pants = drenched

Took me a good 25 min to walk to another building that normally takes me 15! Oh well, take a look.

I want this kind of snow – the kind that sticks, not watered down like a pool!
