    niiiiiice… that 70-200 lens is so tempting……. =D

I wish Santa will deliver it to me! hahaha

    It’s actually my mid-range lens, the 24-105 f/4! ;-)
But I do agree, the 70-200 is still the one to beat!

  3. aw Says:

oh you got the 24-105 too?? nice!!!
actually i’ve been comtemplating to switch with the 24-70 f/2.8 instead…..

  4. a70 Says:

I’ve actually got both… they definitely have their own advantages and disadvantages.
The 24-105 is the perfect walk-around lens, and light-weight, has the IS, but indoors you will just crave for a faster/brighter lens.
The 24-70 is lacking the IS, but indoors it’s excellent, and very sharp. But at 70, I miss going the extra length, and sometimes feel like I have to switch to the 70-200. Also, I wouldn’t consider it a good walk-around because it’s so heavy!

  5. aw Says:

You have BOTH?! hahaha You gotta update ur equipment list! So baller!
But does the IS make huge difference since the 24-70 has lower F-stop?
But yea, the 24-105 is pretty light right now! and my FF camera copes with the indoors pretty well, i’m lucky XD

I do, they both have different purposes though. Too bad they don’t make a 2.8 version of the 105 ;-) Then it’s best of both worlds! IS for the hand-shake and 2.8 for the low light.
