Happy New Year!

Friday, January 1st, 2010 :: 11:09 pm

2009 was probably the most exciting year for me, as well as being one of the big turning points in my life.
Some of the things include: successfully graduating from university, taking a once-in-a-life backpacking trip to Europe, starting a full-time job, upgrading to a 40D with a few lenses, shooting a couple of gigs, and more recently – my trip to Taiwan. I have been extremely fortunate along every step of the way. Looking back, my schedule has been very very busy at times, but that’s what makes it fulfilling!

In terms of my photoblog, last year I had made a new year resolution to edit more photos for 2009 – and I did keep that promise, with a total of ~1500 photos posted, my biggest year yet (probably because of all the Europe photos)! Though I did drop the number of postings to 112…

For the upcoming year, I hope to finish editing off the second half of my Europe trip (yikes! I wish I can procrastinate less and show you all the beauties of Italy and Germany), and also my trip to Taiwan.

Lastly I want to thank everyone who still reads and leaves comments on my photoblog – you have no idea how much it motivates me to become a better photographer and share images with everyone. So thank you *bows* :-) Happy new year!
